Dennis G. Blair is a retired architect now living in Somerset. His long-standing hobbies, which have paralleled his career, are those of sculpting, writing and collecting. He has taken part in sculpture exhibitions in the UK and abroad, and has had over 60 articles published. He possesses an extensive range of interesting and unusual numismatic pieces besides his collections of buttons. It was as a result of his button collection that The Times newspaper published a feature on him in 1994. The common thread uniting Dennis' hobbies is that of "design content", and it is this underlying theme that is the basis of this, his first book.
