The NEL Tornado is the most popular and trusted coil in the NEL range, known for its exceptional depth and sensitivity. Ideal for detecting coins, relics, and artefacts on any terrain, including former battlefields. The coil is unusually light for its size, weighing only 560 g, which makes it easy to use for an entire day. Working with a slow swing will maximise its ability to find not only large and medium targets but also small targets that weigh less than 1g. This coil is superior to the standard coil in depth by 25% and in ground coverage of between 10%. It is recommended as a replacement for standard coils. The coil is fully submersible, and the body is filled with epoxy resin.
Additionally, it features a black protective coating, commonly used for marine boat protection, allowing for coil use without a cover. The coil copes excellently with high and medium soil salinity. Recommended for professionals and amateurs.
